While the Scottish government has given a 12-foot conical tower for the memorial service today, not attending the Memorial is Marina De Larracoechea, whose sister Maria Nieves Larracoechea, a flight attendant, was killed in that plane. She wants her sister’s name left off of the memorial and is suing the airline since neither justice nor the truth has been brought out on the criminal aspects of this event. The big question is whether United States government officials ignored clear and specific warnings that something was going to happen and then let it happen.
